Made in Yorkshire are delighted to announce that Eldon Tool and Engineering are the latest company to join our membership group.

Eldon Engineering Company Limited was established in 1975 to provide a sub-contract machining service to national and local industries.

Eldon Tool and Engineering General Manager, Stuart Smith explained: “We have joined mostly due to the fact that we get a microsite offering which allows us to focus on the engineering products that we make. The connection that Made in Yorkshire gives us with other businesses, I think that is the way forward for us at the moment.”

Close to the motorway networks (M1 & M18) with easy access to the country’s infrastructure and main shipping routes, Eldon are equipped with the very best technologically advanced machines for Turning Milling and Drilling.

Eldon’s engineering division, offer a complete service of production from raw material to finished product in quantities from one off specials to many thousands, meeting the highest quality standards demanded by industry.

Following the controversial Brexit result, there is now more of an emphasis than ever on manufacturers working together in a post-Brexit Britain, as Smith stated: “Brexit is an important facet. We need to get together and work together, share each other's products and benefit from each others skills.”

In addition to their sub-contract service, Eldon manufacture and market a range of Quick Release Couplings and fittings for a wide range of industries with the ability to design and manufacture to customer's specifications.

These capabilities and an emphasis on reliability and service have resulted in the regular supply to high profile such as ICI, British Coal, British Aerospace, British Steel and Rolls Royce.

Made in Yorkshire Managing Director, Jason Pitt said: “We are delighted that Eldon have joined Made in Yorkshire, as one of the first members to join since our historic merger with Manufactured Yorkshire. We are looking forward to seeing their team at our future events.”
